At Cannington Community College, we use the Compass Parent Portal and App to help families stay connected, informed, and engaged in their child’s education.
Compass is one of the main ways we communicate with parents and carers. It enables you to access important information about your child anytime, anywhere, from any modern, web-enabled device. The platform streamlines many school processes — including attendance, communication, and reporting — making it easier for families to stay involved in school life.

In conjunction with the Parent Portal, Cannington Community College also has a Compass Kiosk located in the Administration Office.
Parents and carers use the Kiosk to sign children in or out for partial absences.
All students arriving late or leaving early must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the Admin Office, where they can be signed in or out using the Compass Kiosk.
Compass is accessible on both mobile devices and computers.

Download the Compass School Manager App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
When your child joins Cannington Community College, you’ll receive a unique username and temporary password. On your first login, you’ll be prompted to change your password and confirm your email address and mobile number.
