At Cannington Community College, we use the Compass Parent Portal and App to help families stay connected, informed, and engaged in their child’s education.

Compass is one of the main ways we communicate with parents and carers. It enables you to access important information about your child anytime, anywhere, from any modern, web-enabled device. The platform streamlines many school processes — including attendance, communication, and reporting — making it easier for families to stay involved in school life.

What You Can Do on Compass

Using the Compass Parent Portal, you can:

• Learn how to log in to your Compass account
• View your child’s attendance records and submit explanations for absences or lateness
• Receive school news and communications
• Access your child’s timetable and view the school calendar
• Download and view academic reports
• Make payments and provide consent for excursions and school events
• Communicate directly with teachers and update your family’s contact details

Compass Kiosk

In conjunction with the Parent Portal, Cannington Community College also has a Compass Kiosk located in the Administration Office.

Parents and carers use the Kiosk to sign children in or out for partial absences.
All students arriving late or leaving early must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the Admin Office, where they can be signed in or out using the Compass Kiosk.
